About the role

We are hiring a Social Media Expert who combines marketing and social media management skills to architect and enhance company social media presences, including interacting with customers, promoting brand-focused interactive and engaging content, and expanding opportunities for revenue.
Responsibilities
Creates marketing and social media campaigns and strategies, including budget planning, content ideation, and implementation schedules
Ensures brand consistency in marketing and social media messages by working with various clients, including advertising, product development, and brand management
Collects customer data and analyses interactions and visits, plus uses this information to create comprehensive reports and improve future marketing strategies and campaigns
Grows and expands company social media presence on existing platforms including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram through organic and paid activities
Researches and monitors activity of company competitors
Interacting with customers and dealing with customers’ enquiries
Creating content, including text posts, video and images for use on social media
Promoting products, services and content over social media, in a way that is consistent with an organisation’s brand and social media strategy
Developing new social media strategies and campaigns
Managing a budget to be spent on promoting social media posts and pay-per-click (PPC) advertising
Keeping track of data and analysing the performance of social media campaigns
Collaborating with colleagues from across marketing departments to ensure branding is consistent
Meeting with clients and pitching potential marketing campaigns.
Technical Requirements
A knowledge of and an interest in the methods organisations use to promote themselves through social media is a necessity
Strong communication and presentation skills
Photo and video-editing experience
Analytical ability
An ability to multitask, to work on a number of projects at once
Expert level skills in using and navigating social media networks’ native web apps, 3rd party social media tools, and “the internet” to run it all.
Marketing Mind, Strategic Thinking, Relationship Building
Relevant experience determining a target audience and how to cater unique marketing campaigns to capture their attention
Strong understanding of marketing strategy and how to effortlessly utilize these concepts throughout various forms of outreach
Ability to manage and supervise a diverse group of employees and simultaneously work toward many company initiatives at once.
Educational Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, journalism, public relations or related field.
