Head Finance and accounts:

As a Head – Finance and Accounts (F&A), you will be responsible for conceiving, executing and leveraging financial and legal strategies that enable business results in accordance with the near-term as well as long-term business plans of the company. The Head F&A would play an important role in supporting the company to be cost-competitive, financially dynamic, and progressive in accordance with the changing business environment and competitive landscape.

Accountability & reporting – CEO and Directors & based in Mumbai.
What you will do:

• Creating a climate of fiscal responsibility that will enable the company to remain fiercely competitive
• Providing effective leadership in developing strong governance around Company Finances and compliance
• Creating a strong internal financial control environment
• Creating and maintaining an efficient and effective financial system to provide financial analysis and reporting
• Overseeing all operational aspects related to finance, P&L and legal aspects of the business
• Maintaining healthy accounting ratios for the company such as current ratios, asset turnover ratio, healthy gross/net margins, debt/equity ratio etc.
• Ensuring statutory legal/ regulatory compliance related to Finance and Accounts (taxation/ GST/ ROC / PF/ Import Export Documentation)
• Framing financial and accounting policies/processes and promoting financial discipline in all actions/decisions of the company through creation and awareness of frameworks and ensuring adherence
• Automating processes/ systems as appropriate
• Analyzing current business performance and suggesting alternate business/ financial models to enhance ROI and ROCE
• Providing the strategic direction to enhance financial performance
• Drawing up budgets, instituting budgetary controls, driving the finance strategy and its consequent deployment
• Contributing as a member of the leadership team to the business decisions of the company, specially ensuring financial viability of all decisions
• Advising and raising funds from the most viable avenues and making investments on behalf the company
• Ensuring holistic risk mitigation for the company and its employees by ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and deploying adequate and viable insurance policies
• Acting as the company representative for auditors, vendors, legal/statutory authorities
• Managing the overall accounting function: accounting practices/ polices/processes- such as vendor payments, payroll processing, customer refunds,auditing of financial statements etc.
