This role works in our Global Marketing and Communications organization and is responsible for creating and implementing effective program strategies that are aligned with the go-to-market goals and objectives for our products and services solutions.
As a Field Marketing Specialist for Asia, you will be responsible for supporting the demand and lead generation campaigns with a focus on executing field-ready programs, and then tracking and reporting on their results with the objective of generating incremental pipeline for existing and new products and services. You will report to the Head of Marketing, Asia Pacific and will support the Blackboard Marketing plan for Asia to leverage messaging, influence the marketplace, capture customers and prospects, and generate, nurture, and convert pipeline for all platforms.
Specific responsibilities will include:
Helping to maintain a repeatable and sustainable field-ready demand and lead generation process, conversion programs, and marketing campaigns that provide measurable improvement in top-line and bottom-line growth for targeted platforms
Supporting the creation of integrated programs and campaigns that align with new product launches, upselling and cross-selling opportunities, and new markets
Understanding and utilizing marketing automation tools with the guidance of internal stakeholders and agencies for marketing campaigns, programs and reporting
Providing support in the development of marketing programs to manage pipeline opportunities in support of sales
Supporting online and face-to-face events from planning to execution and reporting
Executing regional, cross-messaging campaigns that support sales and client retention with a channel and international mindset
Providing support for events including trade shows, conferences, and industry events
Helping adapt and localize campaigns, marketing materials, and other lead generation activities
Assisting in copywriting and developing content to create marketing assets
Promoting sales support and sales communications as part of ensuring the success of demand generation programs
Building a good rapport with the sales team and understanding their market needs
Working with regional channel partners to localise marketing campaigns and lead generation activities, helping to drive channel partner business
The Candidate:
Required skills/qualifications:
2+ years of marketing experience
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or equivalent work experience
Project management, event planning, and campaign execution skills
Go-to-market plan execution capabilities
Creative thinker
Enthusiastic and ready to learn
Strong interpersonal skills
Excellent spoken and written English
Preferred skills/qualifications:
Tech savvy
Multi-tasker and highly organized
Experience managing and creating marketing automation campaigns, working with Salesforce, and working with telesales/telemarketing teams
Fluency in one other spoken and written Asian language
