Assistant Manager – Media

Department: Marketing

Reporting to: Senior Manager – Marketing

Location: Kochi

Job Summary: Strategizing, Planning, Buying & Execution of various mainline media channels (TV,Print, Radio etc) for delivering brand’s/organization’s communication. ROI-led planning with data and analytics.

1) Translate brand objectives into media strategy and go-to-market media plans.

2) Develop Media Plans

3) Oversee, monitor, and analyze market trends, competitive activity and share insights (MIS).

4) Develop relevant data and analytical models, to drive analytics first approach to media spends working with partners. Evaluate effectiveness and efficiency of media choices. Measure and report performance with comprehensive pre, mid and post campaign analysis and assess ROI against predefined KPIs.

5) Pro-actively work with Media agency to recommend impact properties/integrations/special initiatives relevant to brand & its objectives.

6) Work closely with the agency and Finance to execute the campaigns, signing estimates, PO releases , manage vendors & track timely payment to vendors.

Role requirements:

· Minimum 6 years of experience in media planning/buying with media agency or client side.

· Sound knowledge of mainline media channels, content partnerships and sponsorships.

· Deep knowledge of media tools like BARC, MAP, IRS, RAM, TGI etc

· Effective communication & presentation skills

· Pro-active, strategic thinker with detail orientation and sharp analytical acumen.

· Collaborative attitude to work as a team with solution seeking mentality.
