The role

Every month, millions of people look for their dream home on the internet – and usually, they’ll also be working on a plan for how they might one day buy their dream home.

Trussle’s marketing team is looking for a content marketing & outreach rockstar to help bring those millions of people to us. We want people to find a home, use our tools and calculators, receive the right mortgage advice, and eventually get a mortgage through Trussle.

Reporting to the Director of Marketing, you will work with our marketing and product teams and our agency partners to plan, create and outreach compelling, dynamic content that earns thousands of high-quality backlinks over the next few years.

Responsibilities:
Working closely with the Director of Marketing, you will be responsible for planning and executing Trussle’s link-building strategy. Driving Trussle from 100 new links a month to 200, to 300, to 400 and beyond

Working with the broader marketing team, our marketing agencies, and the product team, you will orchestrate the creation of highly link-worthy content and tools that will form the foundation of your content marketing & outreach efforts

You’ll work with the broader marketing team to deliver impactful omnichannel marketing campaigns with attributable ROI

Recommend the goals and targets to determine the success of this role – and then build the dashboards, track the KPIs and report on progress regularly to leadership

You will have:
Exceptional experience with creating and outreaching compelling content – and successfully getting backlinks

Exceptional experience with different types of outreach and the necessary “tools of the trade”

Strong experience with on-site and off-site SEO – bonus points if you’re good with technical SEO, too

Strong experience with the different facets of content production: creating, editing, updating, working in CMSes, quickly hacking something together in Photoshop, etc.

Experience with Looker, Tableau, or another other BI tool

Experience in managing a team or agencies is a nice bonus

Experience in financial services or a related sector is a nice bonus
