* Lead – Compliance/Senior Lead – Compliance
Job Purpose
This position is open with Bajaj Finance ltd. The prospective candidate shall handle work related to: . Identification and monitoring of regulatory risks and suggesting mitigants for various products. . Identification of lapses in business and operation functions of BFL for compliance related issues. . Liaising with RBI, Internal and Group level stakeholders. . Review and mapping of applicable Statutory and Regulatory obligations to NBFC in the Compliance Monitoring and Reporting Application and monitoring certification by stakeholders. . Participation in Company/ Group level projects.
Job Duties & Key Responsibilities
* Duties and Responsibilities – PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES (Accountabilities associated with the job) . Work closely with internal teams to ensure the relevant legal and regulatory requirements are well understood and are reflected in the relevant documentation and internal procedures and processes. . Liaison with the RBI Internal and Group level stakeholders. . Regulatory reporting e.g. FD related Branch intimations guidance/ clarifications etc. . Handling Regulatory queries and ad-hoc requests. . Supporting in Regulatory Inspection and related activities. . Identify lapses in business and operation functions of BFL for compliance related issues. . Participation in organization/ group projects. . Supporting in CRMA related activities. . Provide workable and value-added solutions within the regulatory guidelines. 4. MAJOR CHALLENGES (Challenges faced on an on-going basis in carrying out the job) 1. Identifying and assessing Compliance risks in various businesses and their mitigation measures including checks. 2. Work in demanding environment and provide solutions within the scope of regulatory/ statutory guidelines. 3. Consistently perform and deliver in business centric and high growth environment. 5. DECISIONS (Key decisions taken by job holder at his/her end) . Provide guidance/ clarifications to various functions on regulatory matters. . Vetting of documents/ products/ policies from regulatory aspect received from various stakeholders. 6. INTERACTIONS (Key working relationships a job holder needs to have INSIDE and OUTSIDE the company to accomplish the job) Internal Clients Roles you need to interact with inside the organization to enable success in your day to day work . Liaison with the Internal stakeholders for regulatory and statutory compliances.
Required Qualifications and Experience
* SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE (Minimum acceptable proficiency for this job which best indicates the education and/or experience requirements of this job and not the incumbent) Educational Qualifications a) Skills: . Should have worked for reputed Banks/Financial Institutions with diverse fields of business interests. . Excellent analytical and communication skills. . Experience in handling Regulatory/ Statutory Compliances related issues. . Knowledge of RBI guidelines. . Should be a self-starter and a team player. b) Qualifications: . Graduate / Post-graduate / CA / Professional qualification a) Work Experience . For Senior Lead – 12 to 14 years PQE (relevant Banking and Financial industry PQE of 6 years). . For Lead- 8 to 10 years PQE (relevant Banking and Financial industry PQE of 4 years).
