Responsibilities:
Job Summary
The accounts team is looking for an individual to support the daily bank reconciliations and month end processes.
Job Duties
� Perform daily and month end Payment Bank Account Reconciliations by verifying entries and comparing system reports to bank entries
� Identify payment exceptions that require additional research and handling with compliance stakeholders
� Support audit requirement on a quarterly and annual basis
� Perform transactional research including research of unpaid tax payments
� Perform collection of funding from clients for Europe and North America operations
� Perform credit card reconciliation
� Analyze cause and suggest enhancements for recurring exceptions
� Assist in the collection and analysis of relevant management information from an operational and client perspective
� Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
� Issues stop payments
� Perform transactional research
� Aid in the ongoing development of team processes and procedures
� Develop procedure documents to assist in training new team members
� Assist in collecting information for and answering customer queries for all Global Client Payment operations
� Compile information for processing refunds to customers
� Assist in researching historical transactions
� Additional task or projects may be assigned as needed
Qualifications
� A degree in accounting, or a degree in business with emphasis in accounting
� 2 years of relevant experience working in accounting, treasury, finance desired
� Previous account reconciliation required in accounting systems (i.e. NetSuite, QuickBooks)
� Must have high quality control standard, with good attention to detail
� Must be highly skilled in dealing with high volume financial and numeric data
� An ability to prioritize and manage expectations
� An ability to work independently
� Must have very good verbal and writing skills, an excellent communicator
� Must have expertise in Excel and aptitude for cloud-based applications
� Work GMT hours (overlapping US
