Manager / Dy. Manager / Assistant Manager – Financial Reporting ( Group Level Reporting & Unit Level Reporting)- Financial Services BPO/KPO/ITeS

Brief Job Description:

To lead the teams for Month-end close, Financial Reporting and Controllership processes at Group Level & Unit Level

Key Accountabilities/Job Responsibilities:

1) Own End to End Service delivery at Group / Unit Level for Financial Reporting processes

2) People Management – Lead ~ 10 resources, ensuring their training, growth and retention

3) Review and Finalisation of Group /Entity level results, working closely with team

4) Single Point of contact for Client for respective Regions

5) Review of Monthly financial statements, adjustment journals and annual Statutory accounts

6) Support Team members on M-end, Reporting processes and ensure quality of Commentary

7) Analytical review of ledger accounts, commentary on variances

8) Balance Sheet reconciliations – Review and help resolution of open items

9) Strong domain knowledge and able to review the work of team members

10) Good communication and networking skills to be able to reach out to various stakeholders for understanding Business changes, numbers and draft commentaries

11) Drive initiatives on Process improvements

12) Adhere to reasonable operational requests from the management.

13) Work very closely with teams across delivery locations and client

14) Own and run Weekly/Monthly Governance with various client stakeholders, ensure timely publishing of Performance metrics (SLAs/KPIs)

Educational Qualification / Work Experience & Skills:

– CA ( Inter) / ICWA / MBA with 5 to 8 yrs of experience in GL, Reporting and Finalisation of numbers

– Understanding of complete Trial Balance

– Prior experience in the service/ BPO industry

– Working knowledge of Hyperion Financial Management & Essbase

– Working knowledge of Oracle Fusion

– Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite

– Domain expertise (Accounting & Reporting)

– Team Leading – can mentor and develop a high-performing team

– Flexibility to work in different shifts

– Experience in executing Transformation initiatives

– Experience in Capital markets
