Job Description

ANGARAI INDIA Accounts Executive will support the Department, and Business Operations function with important accounting/finance services (including resolving accounting/finance issues) within the organization.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Duties will often include the following for ANGARAI and its all entities.
• Maintaining accounts receivable, document bills and supporting documentation.
• Maintaining accounts payable, ensuring timely receipt and payment of all invoices, confirming validity of the debt, and gathering appropriate signatures.
• Preparing and sending Monthly Fund Flow Statement
• Downloading Vendor invoices from portal as well as one received by email entered in accounting software QuickBooks (QB)/ Tally
• Downloading of Bank and Credit card statements monthly.
• Checking and updating the Bank balance and credit card expenses daily for GHQ accounts in QB vs Bank/Credit card statements and also in Tally
• Handling petty cash, maintaining records, and filing accounting documents.
• Responsible for complete bookkeeping activities on daily basis in the accounting software.
• Responsible for the payroll activities for the organization by coordinating with the HR department.
• Payment of property taxes for properties.
• Preparing monthly budget under the purview of senior management.
• Handle the year end activities on accounts reconciliations, Taxes, filling of IT returns for the entire organization.
• Analyzing financial statements and preparing balance sheets.
• Work with the CPA/Auditor on the Profit/Loss statement & Balance sheet and clear all the clarifications raised by the CPA.
• Knowledge of statutory compliances like Minimum wages, Professional tax, ESI, Gratuity, TDS, and any other requirements.
• Responsible for ANGARAI and all its entities together.
• Any other activities/ area that will be assigned by the management in due course of your employment with the organization.

Requirements:

• Should have a Bachelor/PG degree with accounts knowledge.
• Knowledge of Tally and QuickBooks is preferable.
• Experience of 2 years in Accounting/Finance functions is preferable.
• Should have good oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent understanding of accounting rules and procedures including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Computer literate particularly with Microsoft 365.
• Ability to work independently.
• Strong decision-making skills and Analytical skills.
• Required to work in night shifts or flexible shifts.
