DESCRIPTION Job summary The ERC Benefits Trainer role is an advocate for learning and development of the Employee Resource Center (ERC) associates. ERC Benefits Trainers play a pivotal role, as they are responsible for introducing new hire into Amazon’s culture, and work hand in hand with Training Specialists, ERC Benefits Associates, and Managers in driving growth in ERC Benefits. This position facilitates training of all ERC Benefits Associates and serves as a role model and mentor for the team. Key job responsibilities . Responsible for training delivery of approved training content for all new hire classes, refresher sessions, continuing education, and launch trainings. . Facilitate learning in a virtual classroom setting by organizing and presenting material in a way that is optimal for the learning experience. . Effectively manages classroom environments to maximize learning. . Bridge any gaps between understanding and execution for trainees. . Perform administrative tasks to facilitate the learning environment and components on the agenda. . Work closely with the Training assistant, Training manager, Training specialists, partner teams and stakeholders in the preparation and coordination of training events. . Compile course evaluations and produce summary reports of participant feedback. . Coordinate the new hires nesting week by providing support, leading daily huddles and suggesting training refreshers based on feedback obtained from the mentors and the huddles. . Provide real time action and support during training. . Reports any errors in the training content for correction to the Training Specialists. . Responsible for continuous self-development by keeping themselves abreast with current process knowledge, business processes, and policies. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS . Must have at least 1 year experience within the ERC . Must have a minimum of 3 months experience as an acting ERC Trainer or Training Assistant. . Ability to interact and build rapport with employees of all levels . Previous experience working with remote teams. . Proven ability in delivering soft skills, technical skills, and system/ tools training. . Facilitate learning in the classroom by organizing and presenting material in a way that is optimal for the learning experience. . Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools such as Excel and Powerpoint proficiency in using Chime for meetings proficiency with Quip. . Strong verbal and written communication skills. . Strong preparation, organization, and time management skills. . Ability to work on a flexible schedule which might be changed on short notice. . Proven ability to identify defects and make recommendations for process improvements. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS . Corporate/Process Training experience or teaching experience. . Demonstrated knowledge of adult learning, training practices, and certication programs especially in a HR Contact Center background. . Experience in or demonstrated ability to lead people/teams. . Ability to adapt well to fast-paced environments with changing direction.
