Client is a boutique technology investment bank for Southeast Asian Tech Entrepreneurs and Investors, headquartered in Singapore. The firm is focused on capital raisings and M&A deals from Series A+ in the range of US$20 – 500m.

The client aspires to be the go-to technology investment bank for Southeast Asia, by serving technology founders with dedicated technology professionals, right sized agile solutions and connecting them to the client ecosystem.

A positive, can-do and proactive problem-solving personality is a must.

Responsibilities

Aetos aims to provide meaningful internships that develop future leaders.

Spreadsheets and power points are the beginning, not the end. Right sized agile solutions mean delivery of timely results for our clients.

Move beyond the technical to solve problems and work with people in real time to get deals done.

We are looking for individuals that love technology are entrepreneurial willing to work hard and learn.

• Source, collate and synthesis data on the Southeast Asia tech ecosystem,

• Develop financial models.

• Draft investor marketing materials in written, video and voice format as required.

• Attending and follow-up on team discussions, client meetings and conferences/events

• Run data room and other processes required for deal closure.

• Project manage research projects.

• Build and maintain the bank’s CRM.

Requirements/Qualifications/Skills

You have strong accounting and corporate finance knowledge

You are methodical, meticulous and possess strong quantitative and analytical skills

You possess excellent communication, business writing and research skills

You are able to work well under pressure and tight deadlines

You are able to manage projects independently and be ready to assume a high level of responsibility as a member of a team

You are committed to excellence in your work with high professional and ethical standards

You are familiar with research databases and financial tools (e.g. Thomson, Capital IQ, Bloomberg, etc.)

Relevant Prior Internship Experience in Investment Banking/Corporate Finance Domain

Internships are subject to conversion on the basis of performance of the candidate during the tenure.

Outstanding academic credentials from top institutions, working towards an advanced degree (MBA class of 2016 or Master’s Degree) with prior 1-3 years of relevant work experience OR

3-5 years of relevant work experience after an undergraduate program
