Payment Centre – Analyst

You will be working as Payment Centre – Analyst, reporting to Delivery Manger Procure to Pay for Finance Operational Services based in Bangalore, India. You will be responsible to process accounting transactions for Accounts Payable (AP) in a complete, accurate and timely manner while ensuring compliance with internal guidelines and procedures and external regulatory requirements.

Your responsibilities

• Participating in initiatives and projects to continuously improve financial accounting and reporting processes within accounts payable
• Processing vendor payments, ensuring accurate tracking and processing
• Performing necessary activities (including vendor payments) within the accounts payable area to ensure accurate and timely reporting
• Executing analysis and reports as assigned and taking appropriate action as necessary
• Compiling with and helping to achieve internal control over financial reporting compliance in accounts payable for applicable templates
• Participating in internal control testing and prepares relevant documentation
• Ensuring all relevant stakeholders are aware of progress and/or issues to maximize customer satisfaction

Your background

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce
• Freshers with post-graduation or 0 – 2 years of experience with a Degree in Commerce background
• Should be able to work on the payment report by initiating the payment in SAP using F110
• Should be able to work on the excel sheets by formatting and sharing the report to the business user
• SAP knowledge in Accounts payable and vendor payments domain is added advantage
