Effective and efficient engagement management over a portfolio of clients
Maintain CPE Credits as required, and update knowledge of the new regulations as needed
Perform audits, reviews, and compilations for assigned clients
Complete audit programs, including, but not limited to risk assessment.
Plan engagements and set entrance/exit conferences.
Responsible for confirmations, and maintaining control updates
Prepare tax returns as directed/assigned
Prepare and review financial statements, management letters, and other required reports
Review the status of assigned projects periodically to follow up on open items
Perform other assignments as requested by partners/managers/supervisors
Perform engagements using the best skills and industry knowledge to provide adequate and timely supervision and review
Develop and enhance existing client relationships
Participate in new business development efforts
Staff mentoring/skills development
Recruitment effort to support revenue growth
Support of other staff and firm personnel
Desired Candidate Profile
Candidate must have 7+ years of accounting experience in US Accounting
Candidate must have an Accounting degree/CPA, at least 7-10 years of audit experience, good organizational and communications skills, and proficiency with computers including, but not limited to ProSystem engagement, excel, word, and PowerPoint.
An ability to be constantly self-driven and organized
