Purpose of the Position (Job Summary)
This position is responsible for the P&L of a Retail Outlet. He/She is accountable for achieving the target, maintaining stocks, cash transaction, and settlement of all claims and complaints. He/She provides direction and leadership to the outlet staff.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
Financial
Responsible for achieving sales target
Responsible for managing complete store operations including roll out of product promotion schemes
Responsible for managing all cash transactions at the outlet. (sale & deposit in bank should be reconciled)
Responsible for proper cost control (keeping a check on daily expenses at outlet)
Customer Oriented
Address customer needs & advice on right products
Ensuring settlement of warranty claim of the customers
Attending to the dispatch related queries of the customers
People Oriented
Monitoring performance of CCA and Helpers to ensure that all the customers are attended properly
Ensuring staff reports on time and maintains grooming standards issues by the Company
Ensure continuous learning & development of team through trainings, feedback, etc.
Internal Business Process
Periodical checking of inventory in the outlet
Maintaining ledger for material incoming to and out going from outlet and ensuring proper rotation of stock
Handling all opening & day end processes of the store
Responsible for proper display & hygiene at store.
Responsible for generation of Daily sales report, cash report, monthly closing report etc.
Ensuring roll out of company issued guidelines like VM etc.
Receipt & dispatch of sales promotional material like samples, gifts & stationary etc.
