Are you passionate about solving business challenges at a global scale and setup mechanisms driven by data OPTIMA Operations is looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join our team, define and setup data elements / data structure that our teams across the globe can leverage to enable analytical and reporting capabilities.
The business analyst will leverage data to drive operational efficiencies, provide key data-driven insights, build dashboards which solves business problems, enable new opportunities and innovate on behalf of business customers. The ideal candidate has experience with creating actionable insights and reporting mechanism to tell stories. They are experts in partnering and earning trust with operations/business leaders to drive these key business decisions.

Key job responsibilities
. Build new analytical tools, interfacing with business and technical stakeholders
. Develop models and metrics providing insights on Operational quality performance
. Manage the business metrics reporting process
. Drive process efficiency and automation
. Collaborate with Program and Products Managers across marketplaces to come up with new customer opportunities/insights

About the team
We at OPTIMA are responsible for creating great CX for our customers to shop using Alexa. If you are excited by technology and working in a fast-paced challenging environment drives you, we would love to have you as part of the Alexa Shopping – OPTIMA Operations team. Our goal is to be the North Star of the most reliable source for CX quality insights and ML annotations, to help Alexa shopping feature teams improve CX quality across shopping features, devices and locales
Basic Qualifications :

• 1+ years of experience in financial/business analysis
• Experience with SQL or ETL
• Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights

. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or similar quantitative discipline.
. Technical skills – Advanced proficiency in SQL, Microsoft Excel, and statistical analysis tools and techniques.
. Experience with data visualization using QuickSight, Tableau, or similar tools
. Strong Analytical skills – has ability to start from ambiguous problem statements, identify and access relevant data, make appropriate assumptions, perform insightful analysis and draw conclusion relevant to the business problem.
. Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical problems in simple plain stories.
. Ability to present information professionally & concisely with supporting data.
. Ability to work effectively & independently in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications :
. 2+ years of experience with a modern programming language (e.g., Ruby, Python, etc.) and statistical techniques like Regression, Cluster Analysis etc.
