Role Overview:
Bechtel is seeking a Talent Acquisition Communications/Change Management Specialist to join our team. The role will be based in Talent Acquisition Operations and will manage the communications and change management strategies aligned to the development and implementation of global talent acquisition programs, policies, and processes. The positions offers the opportunity for full-time or partial telework depending on candidate preference. For partial telework, the selected candidate must be able to report to a Bechtel permanent office location 1-2 days per week.
Responsibilities:
Serve as the change and communications SME for the TA Operations team, providing expertise to ensure understanding and adoption of talent acquisition process changes, enhancements, training, etc.
Drive the adoption of transformational and strategic talent acquisition initiatives including identifying resistance and developing mitigation strategies to manage resistance
Partner with the COE to coordinate change activities with human resources and business stakeholders to support consistent, effective execution of talent acquisition priorities
Work with COE and TA Operations teams to conceive and develop consistent communications, and change and communications strategies/plans that are aligned with talent strategies and leading practices
Maintain key talent acquisition communications sites (i.e. Hiring@Bechtel, myOpps, TA Projects and Programs, etc.) with timely and relevant information related to TA systems, tools, and processes.
Develop and drive recruitment marketing/branding on external platforms such as LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, Glassdoor, etc.
Develop content and engagement strategies for Bechtel’s Alumni Network
Provide editorial oversight of training documents to ensure consistent, relevant, and meaningful messaging, and that the language is clear and understandable
Monitor change management effectiveness, measure results, and update strategies and plans as required
Develop compelling, logically structured presentations and deliverables that will be shared at the talent and business leadership level
Basic Qualifications
Grade 25: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field with a minimum of 5+ years of related experience experience or 9+ years overall experience in lieu of degree.
Grade 26: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field with a minimum of 8+ years of related experience experience or 12+ years overall experience in lieu of degree.
Demonstrated experience in similar roles in communications/change management including leading change management for large corporate initiatives
Experience communicating across all levels and audiences with strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
Strong consultation, project management, communication, and facilitation skills.
Ability to use data to inform strategy, problem-solve and make decisions.
Innovative mindset and curiosity to learn about internal and external industry trends.
Demonstrated ability to prioritize & meet multiple individual and team deadlines in a fast paced, changing, dynamic work environment, with strong attention to detail
Additional Qualifications
Prior Bechtel experience supporting communications/change management for human resources and/or talent acquisition
Knowledge of Bechtel’s organizational structure, functions, and administrative procedures
Ability to influence internally without direct authority with strong covenant-based behavior
Works well with teams and other departments, including experience working in cross-GBU environments
Change management certification (ADKAR, Prosci)
